The Government of Mongolia (GOM) with support from The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is implementing the " UB-Darkhan road project " (Project). The project Executing Agency (EA) is Ministry of Road and Transport Development (MRTD). Under the project, EA is seeking to recruit a qualified The PIU Secretary for the Project Implementing Unit (PIU) who will be engaged on a full-time basis.

Objective of the assignment

The PIU Secretary will be responsible for day-to-day office secretarial tasks, organisation of meetings, document management, translation and interpretation, as well as management of the flow of information between the national and international Project stakeholders.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field

Experience: at least 5 years of professional experience of performing written translations of policy and program related documents and interpretations during business meetings and workshops, preferably in the areas of engineering, environmental management, and social development. Prior experience of secretarial duties and office management is required.

Computer skills: Confident user, knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Acrobat, Internet and E-mail.

Language proficiency: Have excellent knowledge of spoken and written Mongolian and English languages.
